Kedar Brown, LPCA

Kedar Brown is the founder and director of Rites of Passage Council, offering nature-based treatment and professional training programs. A member of the International Wilderness Guides Council, Kedar blends creative forms of depth psychology with ancient methods of healing, including vision quests, sweat lodge ceremonies, and personalized rituals.

Kedar apprenticed in vision quest ceremonies with the School of Lost Borders and has trained with indigenous healers, including Cherokee elder Will Rockingbear. With decades of experience as a counselor, addiction specialist, and body-centered psychotherapist, Kedar offers professional training nationally and internationally, emphasizing the therapeutic power of ceremony and nature-connection.
